Monster-Smart: Free Data Check for Your Custom Tape
Perfect Prints Start with Our Free File Check
Before we unleash our printing powers, our monster team gives your artwork a free data check – whether you're ordering 36 rolls or 10,000. Because great custom printed tape deserves flawless results!
We’ll make sure your artwork is ready to roll — literally — and suitable for our professional tape printing process.
Send us your print file, logo, or pixel creature for review:
You’ll hear back from us within 1–2 business days – depending on how wild things are in the monster cave.
What We Check (No Magic Wand Needed)
- Is your resolution high enough for sharp printing?
- How many colors do we need to bring your design to life?
- What’s your ideal repeat length (aka monster loop)?
- Are Pantone colors used, or do we need to convert them?
A Little Monster Disclaimer
We’re awesome, but not psychic. That means we can’t take responsibility for typos, hidden mistakes, blurry upscaling, or wild file settings.
These kinds of oopsies won’t qualify for complaints – so double-check your files before sending them our way!
Print File Guidelines
What you need to know before we print your custom tape
Repeat Length (Rapport)
The repeat length is the width of your artwork + the gap before the next repeat.
We can print up to 395.6 mm repeat length (and in rare monster-cases, up to 502.6 mm).
With a sleeve cliché and no seam, the max is 314 mm.
No need to calculate it yourself – we’ll figure out the perfect length and adjust it to your design. You’ll get a proof before production. Nothing prints without your go-ahead.
Colors
We print with PANTONE C (coated) colors for vibrant and consistent results. View our Pantone color chart here.
No Pantone codes? No problem. Just send your design or CMYK values and we’ll match it as closely as possible.
Important: Use 100% solid color fills only. Gradients and fancy effects sadly don’t work on tape – our monsters tried, and the results were... let’s say “abstract.”
File Format
Your files must be in vector format – we accept .pdf, .ai, or .eps.
Don’t have vector files? No stress! We offer artwork conversion (for a small fee) so your design looks tape-tastic in print.
Use at least 300 dpi resolution, and make sure all fonts are embedded.
