PP Hot Melt, digital print

Hot melt is a synthetic-rubber-based adhesive: high instant tack, grips rough recycled cardboard immediately, unwinds loudly and is the most economical PP grade. Less suited where parcels sit in heat, sun or cold for long – the adhesive is more sensitive to temperature and UV than acrylic. In the set with CMYK photo print, so you see how photos and gradients perform on standard PP.

PP Acrylic, digital print

Acrylic is a water-based dispersion adhesive: unwinds almost silently, builds its bond after pressing down and holds with 4.5 N/inch on cardboard, UV-resistant and ageing-stable between −10 and +60 °C. The choice for packing stations that run all day and for parcels that are stored longer or travel far. In the set with CMYK photo print under the film (sandwich print).
