Why HEX? The color space and its quirks
Web color code like in CSS or Figma – we convert to Pantone so your digital look works on tape. Important to know: tape printing doesn't work with process colors like digital printing – we print in Pantone spot colors. That's why we convert your HEX color code for you and show you the exact Pantone shade that will hit the tape. No surprises between screen and roll. Copy the HEX code from your style guide (e.g. #0066FF) – we turn it into a Pantone spot color. Audience: Digital-native brands, app startups, design systems with HEX tokens. If your CI uses multiple colors across channels, feel free to send all source codes – we'll decide together which shade on the tape gives the strongest brand recognition.
Why PP as the carrier material for custom printed tape?
Pp tape is tear-proof and affordable and made of polypropylene with high initial tack, proven in automatic tape dispensers. Ideal for high shipping volume where price matters. With hotmelt adhesive the tape bonds instantly to all standard cardboard surfaces, including recycled cartons with rough corrugation. Full-surface background printing makes the color pop – your logo or branding becomes the focal point, not the carrier material. Standard width is 48 or 50 mm, length per roll 50 to 66 m depending on material. On request we also produce special widths and long rolls for automatic packing stations.
